Dinghy Sailing Taster

An opportunity to try out dinghy sailing with one of our instructors. Whether just for fun or to help decide whether sailing is for you it is a great opportunity to try something new.

The duration of these sessions are entirely dependent on customer requirements

Total Cost: £25 per 30 minutes

Dinghy Sailing Coaching

This option is appropriate if you wish to brush up your skills or maybe try sailing on tidal waters. You to be coached by an instructor throughout the session.

The duration of these sessions are entirely depedent on customer requirements.

Total Cost: £40 per session/boat

RYA Dinghy Sailing Stages (Junior)

These are the junior versions of the adult courses. They break down the adult courses into smaller managable sections for children. In total there are four stages (1 - 4) which build up the skills and experience of the child. Stages 1 & 2 are equivalent to the adult Level 1, whilst Stages 3 & 4 are equivalent to adult Level 2.

Each stage is broken down into a separate course which runs for 4x 3hr sessions.

RYA Dinghy Sailing Stages (Junior)

RYA Dinghy Sailing Level 1 (Adult)

A beginner's course covering all the basic aspects of sailing. The purpose of the course is for particpants to become familiar with dinghy sailing and comfortable on the water.

The course runs for a total of 12 hours. This is split either into 4x 3hr sessions or 2x 6 hour sessions depending on customer requirements.

RYA Dinghy Sailing Level 1 (Adult)

RYA Dinghy Sailing Level 2

This is an improver course for those who have a basic understanding of sailing, or have obtained RYA level 1. Level 2 provides participants with the skills and knowledge to safely and enjoyably sail a variety of boats in different conditions. This is often the standard qualification needed to hire boats at RYA centres.

The course runs for a total of 12 hours. This is split either into 4x 3hr sessions or 2x 6 hour sessions depending on customer requirements.

RYA Dinghy Sailing Level 2

RYA Dinghy Sailing Levels 1 & 2 Combi

Combining RYA levels 1 & 2 into one single course which covers all the aspects of the individual courses.

This course runs for a total of 30 hours. This is split into 5 full day sessions.

RYA Dinghy Sailing Levels 1 & 2 Combi

RYA Dinghy Sailing Seamanship Skills

An advanced course for sailors who have already obtained RYA Level 2. This course teaches candidates how to handle a boat in various conditions and is a challenging but rewarding course. Learn how to sail backwards and without a rudder!

This course runs for a total of 12 hours. This is split either into 4x 3hr sessions or 2x 6 hour sessions depending on customer requirements.

RYA Dinghy Sailing Seamanship Skills

RYA Dinghy Sailing with Trapeze & Spinnakers

An advanced course for sailors who wish to learn and develop their skills in regards to spinnaker work and trapezing. An action packed and fun course.

This course runs for a total of 12 hours. This is split either into 4x 3hr sessions or 2x 6 hour sessions depending on customer requirements.
